The 7-unit dental clinic located in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, is designed with modern and simple lines to provide its users with the best space experience. At the request of the employer, the waiting area at the entrance and on the upper floor was designed to make the space perceived as spacious. It is aimed to offer a different experience to the user by using translucent materials in the furniture and counter at the entrance and supporting these materials with correct lighting.
While choosing the color palette and materials, the connection of the patients to be served with the environment was taken into consideration. By creating spaces that are as transparent as possible, it is aimed to create a feeling of spaciousness and to let in the natural light coming from the front. Since the space is relatively small in size compared to the desired needs, various architectural solutions were produced between the clinics and the corridors and the use of the space was maximized.
The clinics, located on both floors, are joined by an "S" curve to maximize space utilization. In this way, doctor's work benches and computer systems take up the least space possible and add movement to the clinic plan.
Thanks to the acrylic wall covering and epoxy floor used in the clinic areas, the highest possible hygiene level is aimed. The clinics are designed with various color combinations to make patients feel comfortable. In this way, it is aimed to provide the best service to patients by providing clinics with various colors and textures in the same place.
Although the space's long, narrow plan is the most challenging issue in terms of space layout, various solutions and layout techniques have been tried and the most accurate plan layout has been achieved without loss of space. Thanks to the innovative materials used, hygienic and antibacterial surfaces were obtained, and at the same time, a positive contribution was made to the manufacturing process. In the corridors of the clinic open to patient use, a design was made with translucent glass and greening, which is spacious and will reduce the feeling of tension in patients.
