Balıkesir historical hotel

In order to reflect the estimated column-bearing typology of the centuries-old building on the ceiling, an arch-column visualization was made with mesh metal. It is aimed to reflect the historical texture in a remarkable way with the lighting placed on the column heads.

During the construction phase of the hotel complex, it was aimed to exhibit the estimated Byzantine Period column, whose texture and integrity were intact, unearthed during the excavation. The historical column will be exhibited as a visual element in the space with clamps that will be fixed to the ceiling and the water feature on the floor in a way that will not damage the column.
The lobby design aims to openly display the masonry walls from the old period.
